This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines
BIFL was created by and for a wide variety of LGBTQIA+ identities and mental health experiences. The series is about intersectionality grounded in meaningful, real-life situations; both behind and in front of the camera, it’s about our communities being seen and heard.
In season 1: after an epic New Years’ party at The Chill Zone, our group of friends is left feeling ALL the feels. Jill drunkenly kissed her roommate/best friend, Chloe (always a great idea!), then walked in on Chloe making out with life-size-can-of-Axe-body-spray Kyle. Meanwhile, Sarah and their platonic soulmate, Oliver, had a blowout fight after their mutual friend tries to ship them… again.
And Taylor? She’s just trying to stay afloat in an environment that’s… a lot.
In season 2: we’re going to explore the aftermath of the party, and dive deeper into their lives as they navigate life, love, and lots of gay sh*t!
From movie nights in The Chill Zone and video games at Ollie’s house to Taylor’s side-eyes and Matt… well, being Matt, we spent season 1 falling in love with this group.
But we have a lot more story to tell, and that’s why we’re upgrading season 2 to a half-hour comedy! Welcome to the BIFL Squad #GLOWUP!
That’s right: in season 2, we’re giving you six jam-packed half-hour episodes of all the queer goodness, BIFL has to offer.
As of October 14th, this project has raised $3,000 of their $125,000 goal. This project has 29 days left to raise the $125,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $10, you will get digital wallpaper. For a pledge of $25, you will get to watch all season 2 episodes.
