YouTuber The Aspie World is talking about something special on Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Daniel Tiger will be bringing a new guest who is on the autism spectrum to the show. The show features different friends helping Daniel Tiger play learn and grow as a child. The show is awesome and has a nice calming tone to it.
Because of the tone of the show being so calm there is this awesome sense of focus which can help autistic kids. They introduce the kid Max who is autistic, playing with busses and his favorite thing is busses. Daniel tries to interact with Max but Max is so focused on the busses (toys) that there is little to no interaction back to Daniel.
At this point the teacher intervenes and explains about Max’s difficulties. This is an amazing way to show children how people on the autism spectrum are in situations of interaction socially. Also the show has no background noise or music so it is very good for autistic children to watch as it is.
