YouTube channel Eddache has a new interesting video about the Animaniacs. Thanks to the US Congress passing the Children’s Television Act, kids cartoons had to add that “we learn something” statement to every kids show. The Kids WB show Animaniacs parodied this with the wheel of morality.
Animaniacs also got around this new act by making learning interesting and cool by using weird gags and songs. A popular feature with this was Yakko’s World. The video goes on about Saturday morning cartoons being cancelled because of this dumb act, and the reboot of Animaniacs. Enjoy below!
