YouTube channel Bright Sun Films explores the Pyramid located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. Along the Mississippi River and just outside the city center of Memphis sits perhaps the most out of place structure in any American city.
The Great American Pyramid as it was touted in the late 80’s was promised to be the next huge landmark in the Midwest, a tourism marvel which would be revered by millions. When it opened in 1991 however, the Memphis Pyramid arena wasn’t the spectacular landmark it was supposed to be.
