Welcome to Disability Awesome. Each week, this post will feature a person or persons with mental and / or physical disabilities who are doing awesome things! As someone with an disability, I love it when others when disabilities do great things!
I am on the Autism Spectrum, and I attempt to continue to do amazing things here on Geek Alabama with articles, videos, pictures and more! Here is a project done by a woman who is also on the Autism Spectrum. The project is called Jordyn’s Summer Shirt Project, and the mission is simple, Be Kind to Everyone!
The Summer Shirt Project was created to teach Jordyn job skills and to promote kindness to everyone. She rolls every shirt, adds a wristband and signs a thank you card.
Their daughter has #Autism. A conversation about her future has grown into a movement of kindness reaching across the country.
It's also given Jordyn a vision for her future.#AutismAwarenessMonth #BraveConquersFear #11Alive

The shop sells a wide variety of shirts. It also sells hats, aprons, mugs, and much more! Every order features the product you ordered, plus a card that has Jordyn’s name written by herself! So far, I have gotten a hat and tumbler. The shop does not have the shirt size I wear, but I would get one if they did.
What an awesome project! You can learn more at: https://bekindtoeveryone.com/
