Crowdsourcing Mornings: Accountability Now Billboards

Advertisements

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

I have created a billboard design in response to the violent, racist, and fascist attack on our democracy that took place on January 6. The politicians that inspired and supported the attack need to be held accountable! Josh Hawley’s office is located in Saint Louis, so I plan to place the billboard in Saint Louis on a highway central to the downtown area that receives over 500,000 views per week. I have already been in contact with the billboard company and have secured the location and received approval on the design. If I can raise an additional $4000, I will place a second billboard in Washington, DC. Please help support this effort by donating to this Kickstarter.

Building community is a key element in my work. I’m really excited to be working with Kickstarter and to have this project funded by a group of people who want to experience change in our country.

As of January 20th, this project has raised $1,500 of their $3,500 goal. This project has 13 days left to raise the $3,500 goal or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $25, you will get a social media shoutout.  For a pledge of $50, you will get a signed postcard billboard image.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ourbodiesourbusiness/accountability-now-billboards?
