This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Hello! We’re Wolu Studio, an indie Latinx Publisher & Animation Studio, founded by young artists from the comics and cinema world. We’re making our first Kickstarter with the goal of funding one of our biggest projects and dreams: Creating the animated version of our mystery/drama project “CARTA PRAT”

With this Kickstarter we are looking for funding to develop the pilot episode of our first animated series: Carta Prat, a mystery and drama series, this story addresses what it means to be a teenager in a city in Latin America and the price of meddling too deeply into people’s inner worlds. This work was born from the comic book with the same name: You can read the first chapters in English here.

Our goal is to help develop the animation industry in Latin America, we want to make an animated series of 6 to 12 episodes, but first, we need to animate the pilot episode, which will give us the opportunity to present it to producers and people within the world of animation who can help us make the whole series.

We’ve already made a trailer and a lot of the pre-production process, but without your help, this project cannot be done!

We’ve amazing rewards prepared for you so you can get unique physical and digital products while helping us.

As of December 24th, this project has raised $28,500 of their $30,325 goal. This project has 3 days left to raise the $30,325 or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $5, you will get digital files.  For a pledge of $31, you will get physical rewards.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cartaprat/carta-prat?
