Crowdsourcing Mornings: Songs For A Sloth

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

On the verge of a nervous breakdown, Maxwell meets a talking sloth in his dreams and becomes obsessed with saving the animal’s habitat in his waking life by returning to his first passion of music.

If you’re someone who believes that it’s never too late to go after your dreams in life, big or small, then this film is for you. Also if you like sloths, puppets, sibling rivalries, video games, paintball, original music, inventions, paintings, laughing, and/or crying, then this movie is also for you.

Songs for a Sloth mirrors our years long journey to get our film made. The protagonist, Maxwell, a former musician, justifies returning to his passion to further a cause championed by his late father. But can he do it solely for its own sake? Beyond all the comedy in the film is the heart, the central question our protagonist asks, that we all ask at some point…

Do we only have a small window in life to go after our dreams and, if we think it’s closed, can we reopen it?

As of March 11th, this project has raised $45,000 of their $50,000 goal. This project has 10 days left to raise the $50,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $10, you will get a social media shoutout.  For a pledge of $20, you will get a digital download of the movie.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/puddingboy/songs-for-a-sloth?
