This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Caitlin and Alma have continued Mary and Frida’s work as union organizers, but when Caitlin has a disturbing dream about her childhood friend, Duncan the ghost, she decides to return to Boston to find out what’s wrong. Though it is a happy reunion with Samuel and Granville, something much more sinister awaits her and the team.

Ghosts and Demons was inspired by my standalone short story, Here Abide Monsters, which was part of the Some Time Later anthology, published by Thinking Ink Press.

If you are new to the series, the original six issue mini-series is about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius scientist who battle supernatural forces in late 1800’s Boston. They live in an alternate steampunk history where ghosts and demons are a normal part of life. Families known as the Great Houses control the economy of the Great States of America while the middle class and lower classes sole purpose are to serve the Great Houses.

As of February 17th, this project has raised $14,000 of their $4,850 goal. This project has 4 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $6, you will get a PDF comic.  For a pledge of $10, you will get a signed comic copy.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mhollyrosing/boston-metaphysical-society-ghosts-and-demons?
