Last night, the animated short film Hair Love won the Oscar for best animated short film.  And when you watch it below, you can see why it won.  The movie tells the heartfelt story of an African American father learning to do his daughter’s hair for the first time.  And watch until the end and you’ll find out what happened to the mother, it’s lovely and emotional.
