Sunday Discussion: Americans Know Wealth Inequality Is A Problem, But What Does It Look Like

To demonstrate the growing wealth inequality problem in the United States, sometimes you have to use real props like a pumpkin pie.  The growing gap between rich and poor Americans is one of the U.S.’s biggest challenges, with the top 1% controlling more wealth now than at any time in the last 50 years.

A recent survey found that over half the country thinks it’s a problem, though most people might not know exactly what wealth inequality looks like. Tony Dokoupil from CBS This Morning speaks to Americans to see if they know what their “share of the pie” looks like.
