Crowdsourcing Mornings: Priya And The Lost Girls Comic Book

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

We need you support to do a print run of the new edition of the ground-breaking “Priya’s Shakti” comic book series — PRIYA AND THE LOST GIRLS. The new comic book features Priya — India’s first female superhero who is a rape survivor and named by UN Women as a “gender equality champion.” Besides being a powerful story with beautiful artwork, it is also interactive! The comic book helped define the new frontier of integrating literary publications & exhibitions with augmented reality technology.

Support our Kickstarter campaign and get a beautifully printed copy of PRIYA AND THE LOST GIRLS, and other rewards. Augmented reality is a major part of our comic book, and by scanning the comic book with the free augmented reality APP, you can view animation, real-life stories, and other interactive elements pop-out of the pages. In addition your support will allow us to print a Hindi version for distribution in schools and community centers in India through our partner — Apne Aap Women Worldwide, an NGO that works to end sex trafficking, while simultaneously working with the United Nations to devise better policies for the poor and young often neglected by society.

As of December 17th, this project has raised $11,000 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 7 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $2, you will get a eBook copy of three comic books.  For a pledge of $30, you will get one signed printed copy of Priya And The Lost Girls, plus more.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/priyashakti/priya-and-the-lost-girls-comic-book-priyas-shakti-3?
