Most airports in the USA are publicly owned.  But, with budget cuts and less revenue coming into government agencies, some major airports look ugly and are falling apart.  So what does this mean?  The airlines are now beginning to fund essential projects to bring airports up to snuff.  CNBC takes a look at why US airports are so bad, and what the private airlines are doing to make airports better.
