In the battle to save food and kick the plastic habit, we are all on the same side. That’s why we invented our new Food Huggers flexible fit lids for bowls.  We love our prototypes! They are easy to use and fit like a dream. Each lid adapts to fit different sized bowls using our patented Food Huggers seal to keep the freshness in. If you hate single-use plastics and food waste, you’re going LOVE them. It’s never been so easy to be good!

Food waste is a major problem. It’s not just the food that gets wasted, though that’s bad enough. It’s all the water, energy, and the impact of carbon pollution from transporting it all. And rotting food is the single largest component of municipal landfills, a huge source of methane, one of the most potent greenhouse gasses on Earth. Reducing food waste is one of our core values.

We have designed these lids to reflect the goals we have for own homes. Food Huggers products are reusable alternatives to plastic wrap and foil. Love your leftovers by keeping them fresh and keeping the fridge organized so you can see what you’ve got. Our products are designed to last, not designed to be replaced. That’s why we offer a Lifetime Guarantee.

As of October 31st, this project has raised $26,500 of their $21,000 goal. This project has 18 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $25, you will get two Food Huggers Lids.  For a pledge of $30, you will get three Food Huggers Lids.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/foodhuggers/flexible-fit-lids?
