Come Out To Halloween At Glenwood Terrace Trick-Or-Treating 2019

There was some concern that Halloween night 2019 would be a massive rainout.  But now, the forecast looks like it will be dry, but cold and windy.  So, Halloween At Glenwood Terrace 2019 is on!  The streets of Glenwood Terrace will once again be transformed into Alabama’s biggest Halloween street party. Halloween At Glenwood Terrace features numerous houses going all out and decorating for the big Halloween night, plus many houses also give out trick-or-treat candy.

Halloween At Glenwood Terrace also has the famous haunted horseman who walks up and down the street haunting the people who are out at this event. You might see a guy missing his head on horseback roaming up and down the street! Weather permitting, you can find the haunted horseman from the start of the event until dusk.

Glenwood Terrace will be closed off to vehicular traffic and the streets will be filled with the ghosts, goblins, and the other cool Halloween costumes worn by kids and adults! Thousands from all over the region make it a required stop during Halloween trick-or-treating!

The trick-or-treating fun will begin at around 4:30 pm! I will be out along Glenwood Terrace beginning about at 4:30 pm. The weather for the 2019 version of Glenwood Terrace Halloween will be very cold and windy!  Remember to bundle up as temps will be in the 40’s and falling through the evening.  The fun will last along Glenwood Terrace until around 8-9 pm. Come out early, because Glenwood Terrace, and many surrounding streets, are closed down to traffic beginning at 4:00 pm. And that includes Glenwood Terrace, Highland Avenue, and the intersecting streets, parking will become a challenge!

Glenwood Terrace is easily accessible off of Highland Ave. in East Anniston. Just turn onto East 10th Street off of Quintard Ave, and drive to the third traffic light on top of a hill past RMC, and turn right! You can park on any street around Glenwood Terrace but no vehicles will be allowed on Glenwood Terrace during trick-or-treating. The entire thing is free! And you will get to enjoy kids and adults dressed up in their best Halloween costumes. Great ready, trick-or-treating is coming Wednesday, October 31!
