October 26 – Covered Bridge Festival – Oneonta, AL
The high point of the beautiful autumn season in Blount County, the Covered Bridge Festival brings the entire area alive with arts and crafts vendors, live music, vintage cars, children’s activities, food and music, a self-guided tour of the historic covered bridges, 5K run, quilt show, pancake breakfast and much more!

October 26 – Opp Fest – Opp, AL
This event, sponsored by The Downtown Redevelopment Authority, is a fall festival that occurs the last Saturday each October in Opp. The Opp Cultural Arts Council displays adult and children’s art. There are many arts and crafts booths, food vendors, musical entertainment, merchant sidewalk sales, a car show, children’s activities, and a soap box derby. Attendees can even tour “Scarecrows in the Park” (hosted by The Trail Masters) in nearby Lake Frank Jackson State Park.

October 26 – Elberta German Sausage Festival – Elberta, AL
German sausage and other food booths, music, dancing as well as arts and crafts booths, children’s rides and games. The event is held each year on the last Saturday of October.

October 26-27 – Alabama Renaissance Faire – Florence, AL
Voted one of the top 20 events in the Southeast during the month of October, the Alabama Renaissance is a premier event that transforms Wilson Park into Fountain-on-the-Green for an entire weekend. It is common to find pirates, fairies, trolls, maidens, kings, and everything in between roaming the park during this exciting event. Vendors, demonstrators, and performers will be situated throughout the park for the entire event. Everyone is welcome – especially those clothed in Renaissance attire!

October 26 – Alabaster Fall Fest – Alabaster, AL
Alabaster’s Fall Fest includes Arts and crafts vendors, live music, food, inflatables, trick-or-treat trail, and hay rides. 9:30 am – 3:00 pm with Free Admission. Held annually on the last Saturday of October.

October 26 – Gulf Seafood Gala – Dauphin Island, AL
Enjoy locally-sourced Gulf seafood prepared by South Mobile County restaurants including Dority’s, Pirates Bar & Grill, Islanders Restaurant & Bar, JT’s Sunset Grill, Waves DI, Island Rainbow, LLC, The Pelican Reef, and Catalina Restaurant, and served in a relaxed atmosphere at the iconic Isle Dauphine Club. A full cash bar will be available. Live music and a silent auction of original art will round out a memorable Dauphin Island experience. Admission is by pre-purchased ticket only.

October 26-27 – Cotton Pickin’ Celebration at Old Baker Farm – Harpersville, AL
Old Baker Farm–Living history, arts, crafts and pumpkin festival. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Event is held annually on the fourth full weekend of October.
