October 5 – Oxfordfest – Oxford, AL

Oxfordfest is an annual arts and craft festival which takes place the first Saturday in October on Main Street in Oxford, Alabama. The festival features arts and craft vendors from all over, food, live music, fun for all ages, hourly prize drawings and a $1000.00 give away. All proceeds benefit local charities and organizations.

October 5 – Bluff Park Art Show – Hoover, AL

The Bluff Park Art Association celebrates its 56th year in 2019. Always held on the first Saturday in October, this juried fine arts show attracts the best artists in the southeast and beyond for a one-day celebration of artistic talent. Meet the artists and enjoy seeing and purchasing their works of art in a beautiful wooded park setting.

October 4-5 – Boaz Harvest Festival – Boaz, AL

Boaz October Harvest Festival is a unique annual outdoor event featuring over 250 vendors, of arts, crafts and food vendors, entertainment, farmer’s market, Miss Harvest Festival Pageant, moon pie-eating contest, children’s play area, entertainment, Antique Car Show, Antique Tractor & Engine Show and lots more for the entire family.

October 5 – A Taste of Louisiana Food Festival & Cook-Off – Hoover, AL

Guests get to sample every team’s dish and vote for their favorite People’s Choice Award winner. There will also be music, a Kid Zone, auction and raffle with great prizes and giveaways.

October 4-6 – Barber Vintage Festival – Birmingham, AL

October 5 – Claybank Jamboree – Ozark, AL

There will be plenty of vendors to visit during the festival, as well as rides and food! All of the Downtown shops will be open during this time, so it’s a great opportunity to see what the local businesses are. Every year has something different, so come to see us any time!

Hayden Day is held annually on the first Saturday in October. This festival serves as a great way for the community and visitors to come together to experience a family fun day in the Town of Hayden. Along with our sponsors, the Town of Hayden, provides this festival where all kids activities are free as well as a free car show. Arts/crafts, merchandise and food vendors are available as well to supply a great day for everyone.

October 3-5 – Birmingham Greek Food Festival – Birmingham, AL

Thousands are expected to attend the 47th annual Birmingham Greek Food Festival Thursday through Saturday. In addition to great food, there will be live Greek music and dancing. Drive-through service is available from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no need to call to place an order before arriving. Food can be ordered in any quantity and delivered right to your car.

October 5 – Oktoberfest – Birmingham, AL

Take a big appetite for German food to Oktoberfest. The German-themed party offers authentic polka music, live performances, food and cold beer. Entertainment includes Birmingham Sport and Social Adult Game Zone, Stein Hoistin Contest, Brawt Toss and Keg Roll Racing. Children 15 and younger are admitted free. To purchase or consume alcohol, you must be at least 21 years old. Attendees ages 16 to 20 must have a designated driver ticket. The fun begins Saturday at 7 p.m. at Railroad Park.
