Last weekend was the widely discussed date of that Area 51 raid that was started on Facebook. It morphed into what was called Alienstock. Now, Mashable and BuzzFeed went to the Area 51 raid and Alienstock to see what happened. Nope, no raid onto Area 51 actually happened. Instead, people came out to see the gate heading into Area 51, meet other people, and rock out with live music playing. It was actually a peaceful event. Enjoy the coverage below!
