September 20-21 – Boom Days Heritage Celebration – Fort Payne, AL
This annual art and musical event displays citizens of Fort Payne taking a second look at their past and the heritage passed down to them through the arts and crafts of our area. Many events will take place the week prior to the celebration on Saturday. The Boom Days Heritage Celebration will feature many of these facets in the presentation of musical performances as well as art displays in the Fort Payne City Park.

September 21 – Hartselle Depot Days – Hartselle, AL
The Depot Days Festival is the biggest event of the year in Hartselle and it is always held the third Saturday in September. In 2016 the estimated attendance was over 19,000. The week consists of the history of Hartselle, community worship service, choral concert, a movie in the park, and a night at the market. This is a fun family event with no admission costs. On Saturday there is a tractor show, car show, live entertainment, tons of vendors, an art competition, and so much more.

September 21-28 – Eva Frontier Days – Eva, AL
Week-long event featuring community singing, greased pig chase, craft show, antique tractor show, car show, best dressed, baking contest, parade & much more.

September 21 – 32nd Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup – Gulf Shores, AL
The 2019 Alabama Coastal Cleanup is the 32nd year of the State’s largest annual volunteer event. Involved citizens, school groups, businesses and clubs walk or boat in 28 different zones throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

September 21 – International Festival of North Alabama (iFest) – Huntsville, AL
On Saturday, 21 September, the International Society of Huntsville and UAH present the ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF NORTH ALABAMA at the UAH Fitness Center – NO ADMISSION CHARGE! This one-day, family-friendly, “weather independent” spectacular―Open to the Public―features a wealth of global performances within a tented area; food trucks – a festival favorite; FREE hands-on children’s games and crafts; an Open Air Market; and indoor table displays featuring cultural artifacts, travel/historic literature, handicrafts, native apparel, educational videos, and so much more…from around the world!

September 21 – Red Bay Founders Fest -Red Bay, AL
City of Red Bay, Bay Tree Park–Arts, crafts, food, games, antique car, truck and motorcycle show. The Red Bay Museum will be open and merchants will offer sidewalk sales. A fried pie contest will be held at 11:30 with cash prizes. Special entertainment throughout the day, t-shirt, door prizes and more.

September 21-22 – Monte Sano Art Festival – Huntsville, AL
The Monte Sano Art Festival features the region’s finest artists in an array of wonderful media. Add in great music and delectable food offerings and the Monte Sano Art Festival will once again be a highlight on the arts calendar, held the third weekend of September atop Monte Sano mountain.

September 21 – Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride – Bridgeport, AL
Ride the official route that is recognized by the Alabama Indian Affairs Commission as “dedicated to following the historical route to Waterloo, AL.” This Motorcycle Ride was started to bring awareness to the Trail of Tears route brought on by the Indian Removal Act of 1830 Always the 3rd Saturday of September.
September 21 – Auburn’s Oktoberfest – Auburn, AL
The event will take place at the park on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 4-8 p.m. This year’s festival will feature 75+ breweries showcasing more than 150 beers, food trucks with both local eats and traditional German fare, plus live entertainment from Kidd Blue and a traditional Oompah band. The popular Homebrew Alley will also return, along with a selection of German wines.
