Time for the Alabama Weekend Roundup. This weekly post highlights different and unique events across Alabama or near Alabama that you should consider attending. So for this weekend, here are some events you should consider going too!

June 29 – Park and Bark Benefit Car Show – Prattville, AL

Were at it again, we will be hosting the Park and Bark Benefit car show, June 29 th 2019 it will be held at Mcgray park (the Autauga county fair grounds).  The trophies for classes of cars will include Import cars, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, motorcycles, people’s choice, and here’s the fun one “The ugliest car.”

June 29 – Peach Jam Jubilee 2019 – Clanton, AL

The Peach Jam will be held at Clanton City Park from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., with live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, a children’s playground, great food and fun for the whole family. Admission is free!

June 29 – Birmingham’s Next Hot Dog Contest – Birmingham, AL

We are calling all dogs to bring their owners and enter! We have fantastic prizes, a silent auction, vendors, food, Fetch Truck and a dancing good time with Birmingham’s Disco Amigos; plus, amazing judges and MC!

June 28-30 – Guntersville Lake Hydrofest – Guntersville, AL

Powerboat racing returns to Lake Guntersville June 28-30, 2019, bringing back one of the oldest and most popular tourism events held on the 69,000 acre reservoir.

June 28-29 – Liberty Day Celebration – Columbiana, AL

Events will include arts, crafts, food, children’s activities, Classic Cars, museum tours, live music both Friday night and all day Saturday, Hall of Memories (First Baptist Church), Miss Shelby County and Miss Alabama signing autographs, patriotic parade, a hot dog eating contest, a patriotic dog costume contest, a fireworks display, and more.
