This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines/
Today, we are very excited to show you what we have been up to for the last three years. Kickstarter – welcome Flic 2 and the Flic Hub LR! You don’t need to talk to Flic. You don’t need to unlock your phone or trust that an AI will figure you out. You just have to push a button. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from making smart buttons for over six years, we’ve listened to feedback from the community and revisited every single detail to come up with a product that we sincerely believe is the perfect button.
The Flic Hub is an optional accessory to Flic so you don’t have to connect the buttons to your phone. It has also been rebuilt from the ground up to optimize performance, to add HomeKit capability, and to add Bluetooth Long Range. The most common ways our community use Flic are to toggle lights and control music. But people are really creative, there are literally thousands of wildly different things that people use Flic shortcuts for!
We all have different routines. What we do when we wake up in the morning, how we get to work, and how we structure our day. Flic is a tool that helps you simplify your everyday routines. Instead of different apps or complicated voice commands, structure your life with buttons! A push-of-a-button life doesn’t have to be complicated. Quite the opposite! Reduce the clutter with technology that just works.
As of June 12th, this project has raised $500,000 of their $50,000 goal. This project has 8 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $25, you will get one Flic. For a pledge of $85, you will get four Flics. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shortcutlabs/flic-2-the-perfect-button-control-anything-with-a-push?
