Vote For Alabama’s Doodle For Google 2019 Submission

Advertisements

You only have a few hours left to vote for the 2019 Doodle For Google.  And there is one submission from Alabama in the grades 10-12 category.  Alanna Johnson from Montgomery just graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.  She has plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in the Fall and major in animation.

Alanna’s drawing is called “I Hope We’re Still Friends.”

I drew a photograph of a group of friends surrounded by items that represent friendship, such as a friendship bracelet and a chrysanthemum. I hope that when I grow up I still have my close friends right next to me.

The winner of Doodle For Google will see their drawing on the homepage of Google for a day, they will also win a $30,000 college scholarship, and their school will receive $50,000 to go towards the establishment or improvement of its computer lab or technology program.

To vote, just click on the link below, click grades 10-12, click on the Alabama submission, and vote!  Voting closes at 11 pm Central on June 7th, 2019.
