Welcome to Convention Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I will feature and highlight conventions happening during the upcoming weekend in Alabama, or within short driving distances from Alabama.
June 7-9 — NuCon — Gadsden, Alabama
NuCon is a pop culture convention. There will be vendors, lecturers, panels, a costume contest and a plethora of other things to do. Vendors will include sci-fi, fantasy, cosplay, anime, steampunk and zombies (and so much more). Speakers and panels will cover costuming, film making, 3D computer art, leather work and zombie topics as well as many others.

June 8 — TarrasqueCon — Marietta, Georgia
Welcome to a truly unique NON-Adventurer’s League event. There’s a really fun adventure called Invasion From the Planet of Tarrasques. In this adventure, 20th level characters must battle the most famous killing machines in all of Dungeons and Dragons.
The adventure will be run in three parts with two meal breaks and a social after it’s over. All times are US EST. If you see times OTHER than this in Warhorn, then change your settings to Eastern time.
Part 1 – 10:00-1:00
Lunch 1:00-2:30
Part 2 – 2:30-5:30
Dinner 5:30-7:30
Part 3 – 7:30-10:30
Social 10:30 – Midnight
There will be a cash bar from 7:30 to midnight. If you find yourself unable to drive safely home, let Paige know and she’ll see that you get home.
