This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines/
imagiCharm is a colorful accessory designed for girls to customize directly from their mobile phones using programming. While imagiCharm has been designed for girls between 12 and 16 years, it can be enjoyed by anyone who wants to explore their creativity through programming and join our revolution of girls shaping the future with technology.
imagiCharm has 64 LED lights that can be programmed to light up in any color. It can take on new designs and shapes every day – even multiple times a day. The imagiCharm is white to ensure a perfect contrast with any pattern or shape you may program. Its attachment comes in different colors and you can make your own attachments, too.
Girls can wear imagiCharm on their backpacks, tote bags, purses or jackets. They can hang it on their keys, wear as a necklace, headband, and even earrings. It’s an all-in-one accessory that’s different every day. Our designers and developers have created a delightful mobile experience to complement the imagiCharm. It teaches a real programming language called Python. This Python is not a scary snake 🐍– it’s a fun way to create your own designs and learn programming at the same time.
As of May 28th, this project has raised $7,500 of their $57,907 goal. This project has 29 days left to raise the $57,907 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $5, you will get a personalized thank you. For a pledge of $54, you will get one imagiCharm.
