May 25 – Memorial Day Fly-In Celebration – Tuskegee, AL
The 52nd Annual Memorial Day Fly-In Celebration takes place on Saturday, May 25th at 1721 General B. O. Davis Jr. Drive in Tuskegee. On hand for visitors will be vintage and homebuilt aircrafts, free airplane rides for children, food vendors, and tours of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site museum. Other activities include aeronautic displays and Airmen movies, water slides and more. This popular event is a fun way for children and adults to experience the thrill of flight and to learn more about our country’s military and aviation history. Moton Field was the World War II training site of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen.

May 25-26 – Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Festival – Decatur, AL
This festival is one of the largest free hot air balloon gatherings in the Southeast, featuring more than 60 balloons with races, key grab, tether rides and a balloon glow. Enjoy arts and crafts, food vendors, an antique car and tractor show, musical entertainment and children’s activities.

May 24-25 – RXR Fest – Alexander City, AL
Beginning on Friday you are invited to bring your cooler, your lawn chair, your pup (On A LEASH PLEASE) your friends, family, or come alone and make new friends to Russell Crossroads for the RXR Fest. It’s FREE and you’ll hear great music from local musicians, regional musicians and some national acts may happen along too!! It’s a lot of fun and did we mention that it is FREE!! May 24-25 – Shades of Bluegrass Festival – Rogersville, AL
Shades of Bluegrass Festival is held two times a year at the Rogersville Recreation Park. Shade Tree area for jammers, food vendors, craft vendors, RV parking with hook-up and bathhouse. Space for primitive camping as well.

May 25 – Salsa Showdown – Birmingham, AL
