This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines/
The robot uprising is coming. Will you be ready? This bandana is a daily reminder to prepare for our new overlords. Like the previous BADbandanas, I’m going to reproduce this drawing as a 21-inch square bandana. With white bots on a deep blue background, these bandanas will be 100 percent cotton printed right here in the good-old USA using duplex printing like the quality bandanas I grew up with. (Dyed—not that stiff, obnoxious silkscreening we all hate.)
What do you get? A couple hundred hardworking robots (and some lazy slackers) combined in a serenely symmetrical composition that is an homage to the classic bandanas of the past. Packed in sets of three so you’ll have spares for gift giving. Bandanas have so many uses in fashion, personal hygiene, and pet decoration. No one is going to want just one. So I’m offering reward levels of BADbandanas in packs of three.
As of April 16th, this project has raised $5,600 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 16 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $18, you will get three BADbandanas. For a pledge of $30, you will get six BADbandanas. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/159974695/badbandana-5-robot-uprising?
