March 21-24 – Festival of Flowers – Mobile, AL
The Festival of Flowers, featuring Bellingrath Gardens and Home, will take place on the Providence Hospital Campus from Thursday, March 21, through Sunday, March 24. Guests are encouraged to make plans to visit Bellingrath Gardens and Home during the weekend; special group packages are available.

March 21-24 – Human Rights New Works Festival – Birmingham, AL
For the second year, RMTC will host a two-day festival of powerful work that will inspire, engage, and transform audiences. With panel discussions, dramatic readings of new works, lectures from prominent advocates, and even a workshop-version of a curated piece, RMTC will lead our city in a human rights’ experience unlike any other.

March 22-24 – Siege of Bridgeport Re-enactment – Bridgeport, AL
Commemorating this fateful battle of the Civil War. The undisputed largest re-enactment in Alabama. Bridgeport brings history alive when almost 1,500 reenactors thrill thousands of curious visitors and history buffs with their authentic recreation of this fateful battle of the Civil War. Also included are period music, authentic encampment and vendors of historical objects and clothing.

March 23-24 – Alabama Medieval Fantasy Festival – Greenville, AL
Entertainment, education, and pageantry prevail as history lives and breathes along with hundreds of costumed characters and craftsmen re-creating a 9th century marketplace. The Kingdom Of Dragon Croft is nestled among the forests, and rolling hills and meadows of a 30+-acre site just off Interstate 65 in beautiful Greenville, Alabama. March 23 – Magic City Cycliad – Birmingham, AL
Join us on Saturday March 23, 2019 for the 5th annual Magic City Cycliad, a cycling event that raises money for cancer research at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. Come together and be a part of making a difference for all those impacted by cancer.
March 22-23 – March Gourd Madness & Traditional Arts – Clanton, AL
The annual event of the Central Alabama Gourd Exposure Patch of the Alabama Gourd Society will be having morning and afternoon classes Friday and Saturday March 22 & 23, 2019. Demonstrations, suppliers, and finished art work will be exhibited.
March 23-24 – Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo – Opp, AL
This event includes snake shows, snake races, snake safety presentations, a 5-K run, buck dancing contests, greasy pole climbing contests, kids’ activities, arts and crafts, live musical entertainment, and food vendors offering unique food items such as fried rattlesnake.
March 23 – Beer, Band & BBQ – Birmingham, AL
The Alabama Head Injury Foundation’s Birmingham Regional Board will host its 5th Annual Beer, Band & BBQ event on Saturday, March 23rd from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Avondale Brewery. Your ticket includes a plate of delicious Saw’s BBQ and live music. The WD Band will be the featured performer. Please join us for some craft brews, awesome food, and rockin’ music all for a great cause!

March 23 – AirWave Riverkeeper Benefit – Birmingham, AL
Come spend an afternoon with all your favorite BHM artists. Celebrate the water we all need to live, and support the Black Warrior, Cahaba, and Coosa RIVERKEEPERS! All proceeds benefit our local Waterkeeper nonprofits!The show is free for all to enjoy but please consider making a donation to our three local Riverkeeper nonprofits at the event.
