March 2 – Ballyhoo Festival – Gulf Shores, AL
The Ballyhoo Festival features fine art by artists from Southeastern states. It also features original tribal dance by the Poarch Creek Indians of Poarch, Alabama, arts activities for children, and delicious seafood by Waterway Village restaurants.

March 2 – MortgageBanc Chili Cook-Off – Homewood, AL
Over 140 teams will bring the heat while competing for the winner of the best chili recipe in Birmingham. The Chili Cook-Off is a family-friendly event featuring all you can eat chili, live music, beverages, a kid zone, face painting and more! All proceeds from the event benefit The Exceptional Foundation, which provides social and recreational activities to mentally challenged people of all ages in the Birmingham area. This is the Exceptional Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser.
