This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
The Coco Code is an illustrated book, inspired by Coco, the Boston Terrier, and her ability to communicate a level of curiosity, playfulness, appreciation and love without a word. The book is a standing invitation to join Coco in finding the bliss that surrounds each of us, to start a conversation, and to listen to others, especially those who communicate differently from us.
Simply put, our goal is to share some of what makes Coco special, and to get her into as many hearts, hands and homes across the globe. Each hand drawn illustration is directly inspired by shared experiences between Coco and myself, the author and illustrator. Coco communicated so much, in her own way, the only thing I had to do was to slow down and listen. She would pull me into the present and call my attention to simple pleasures, the kind that surround us all daily. The Coco Code is the best way I know to honor some of what she taught.
As of December 17th, this project has raised $3,000 of their $2,500 goal. This project has 24 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $5, you will get downloadable coloring pages. For a pledge of $18, you will get one copy of the book. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/119962669/the-coco-code?
