Animation Monday: Pip Short Film By Southeastern Guide Dogs

Wow, this is a wonderful short film!  Southeastern Guide Dogs released an animated short film called Pip.  Pip is a four-minute, heartwarming tale about a small dog with a big dream—to become an elite guide dog.  Pip celebrates the heroic dogs that bring the mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs to life.  And the great news is Southeastern Guide Dogs is training a real puppy named Pip.  She is currently in “puppy kindergarten”, and in two years will be paired with a handler.

The film is simple, it shows a puppy wanting to become a certified guide dog.  The film shows Pip training to become a therapy animal.  Pip fails the final exam, but after helping a blind person during a rain storm avoid a disaster around a construction zone, the dog becomes certified.

At Southeastern Guide Dogs, their dogs save the day—every day—for people with vision loss and veterans with PTSD and other disabilities. As a nonprofit, they provide all of their dogs at no cost to people who need them and they receive no government funding. And that’s why Pip needs your help to reach her destiny.

You can donate to their “PipStarter” campaign to support Pip’s big dream to reach her destiny and change a life.  No gift is too small.  And as an added bonus, with your donation of $25 or more, you’ll receive a plush PipPal, an adorable puppy-in-training keepsake.  Learn more at:  https://pipfilm.com/
