Crowdsourcing Mornings: Ridge Stand 2.0 – Healthy Workstation for You & Devices

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Tired of pains in your neck and back from prolonged laptop use? Do you feel your laptop overheating? Looking for easy-to-use and portable laptop stand that can be packed on the go?  Ridge Stand 2.0 is our solution. We designed our stand to fit the exact angle of your MacBook or iPad – with comfort. With an eye-level viewing experience your posture improves. When your neck and back feel relaxed, you can fully enjoy any task, safely use your device, and improve device usage time.  In summer, how to cool the laptop is always a big problem for most of us. Ridge Stand elevates your laptop computer off your desk, providing an optimal viewing and user-friendly experience, and helps keep your portable PC nice and chilled.

This is the 3rd project since we created the Ridge Stand in 2014. We are grateful for the community and every backer that has supported us along the way. We are always seeking new ideas to improve our products and service.  We were very pleased to fulfill rewards during for our last product and happy to receive feedback from our backers and customers. We hope to continue providing our supporters with new and exciting products. Thank you for all of your support along the way. We would not be where we are today without your support! Thank you!

As of October 12th, this project has raised $50,000 of their $8,000 goal. This project has 11 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $25, you will get one Ridge Stand II Mini.  For a pledge of $45, you will get one Ridge Stand II for tablets.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theridgestand/the-ridge-stand-20?
