October 13 – Blountsville Harvest Festival – Blountsville, AL
Arts, crafts, food, bike show, car show, entertainment, display of old farm tractors and equipment. The event is held annually on the second Saturday of October.
October 13 – Alexander City Oktoberfest – Sportplex – Alexander City, AL
Annual Oktoberfest is a day-long celebration featuring local arts & crafts, dining, entertainment, kid-fest children’s activities and more. Antique Car show.

October 13 – Thorsby Swedish Fest – Thorsby, AL
Thorsby was founded by Swedes in the late 1800s and was established as a Scandinavian Colony in the South. This year’s celebration will feature a parade at 9 a.m., entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors and heritage tours. 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

October 13 – Pelham Harvest Festival – Oak Mountain State Park – Pelham, AL
Help us celebrate Fall in the South and welcome in the beautiful Autumn colors that grace our Oaks each year! The Festival will be full of Music, Tons of food vendors including many traditional Fall favorites, Multiple Yard Games like corn hole and giant checkers, Fun Activities like mining for gems and painting pumpkins, Multiple Bounce Houses and an inflatable slide, Pony Rides provided by the Rusted Roof Barn, Meet and greet with the Alabama Wildlife Center’s Education Ambassadors, Complimentary Hay Rides (ride as many times as you like!)

October 12-13 – Butler Fest 2018 – Butler, AL
A “parade of pigs” leads up to the Memphis in May Sanctioned BBQ Cook-Off. A two day carnival does charge admission but provides family fun. For two days over 75 food and craft vendors display their wares around Courthouse Square. Friday night will have a street dance. All day Saturday we display local talent. We kick off the morning with a 5K run, 2K and children’s walk. We have something for everyone! Come out to Butler and get Jiggy with the Piggy!
