Crowdsourcing Mornings: Barc London: Leather & Fabric Dog Harnesses, Collars & Leads

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Barc London is a socially conscious dog accessory brand, providing aesthetic and affordable pieces for your four legged friends.  By donating 10% of our profits to Dogs Trust, we are helping to tackle an ever present issue in the UK, facing animals and animal lovers alike – helping dogs who aren’t as lucky as ours.  Barc came to life when a group of likeminded dog lovers saw a clear gap in the market for a brand inspired by the stripped-back aesthetics of modern day life. Dogs are such an integral and important part of our lives and yet we still believe their accessories can stand out for all the right, and wrong reasons; our aim is to create on-trend pieces that can seamlessly become a part of indoor and outdoor living.
We understand the unconditional love and friendship between dogs and owners. But also understand dogs and their behavior; that’s why we have priced our products accordingly, recognizing the unruly behaviors of dogs and working with that.  Whilst shopping for dog accessories, we realized there is a serious lack of affordable, yet current products available within the market right now. We set out to create timeless pieces that will appeal to all different individuals and their dogs, leading us to our core collection of leather walking accessories. Taking our minimal and effortless style as the focus, we opted for tonal colors with complimentary hardware and embossed branding.
Throughout the last year, we tested, collected and evaluated all of the feedback on our existing products and have used this to create a new range of fabric walking accessories with an extension on our variation of sizes and designs allowing more pets to enjoy Barc. The new range follows the same the same color flow, but with an added edge, and includes the highly anticipated harness.

As of September 21st, this project has raised £6,000 of their £37,000 goal. This project has 17 days left to raise the £37,000 or it will not be funded.
