Post written by Kesley Butler from Calhoun County Insight

Weaver Heritage Day has grown into a beloved festival for the residents of Weaver and surrounding areas. The annual event returns to Weaver Park, 500 Anniston Street, on September 8.

The arts and crafts festival is free to attend. The fun begins at 8:30 am and will wrap up at 3:00 pm. Live music starts with Dwight Smith and Tyrone Young at 9:00 am. High Cotton will take the stage at 10:30 am, followed by Young Sullivan at 12:00 pm and Black Cat Bone at 1:30 pm.

You will find nearly 100 craft vendors including name brands like LuLaRoe, Paparazzi Accessories, Rodan and Fields, Avon, and more as well as vendors selling homemade items and decor. In the food court you may choose from the Lions Club hot dog plates, peanuts, cajun chicken, funnel cakes, and baked goods.

Weaver Heritage Day will have something for the whole family! There will be a petting zoo and a giant slide for the children, a cupcake walk, a tattoo artist from Tennessee, and more. Come explore the treats and treasures at Weaver Heritage Day 2018.
