Sad news that Aretha Franklin passed away today.  Aretha Franklin was a very talented musician, and she will be missed.  Aretha Franklin recorded her first songs at the famous FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals in the 1960’s.  The songs were called “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man”, and “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)”.  The songs were a launch pad to the famous and successful career Aretha Franklin had.

Aretha Franklin made it onto the big screen performing her hit song “Think” on The Blues Brothers.

Aretha Franklin went on to major hits like “Respect,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Think,” and much more.

Aretha Franklin appeared on the game show What’s My Line in 1974.

Aretha Franklin got to sing “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee”at Obama’s Inauguration.

George Bush gave Aretha Franklin the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

And in one of Aretha Franklin’s final performances, she performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in late 2015.

Aretha Franklin also made some popular music videos.  Songs such as “Ever Changing Times,” “A Rose Is Still A Rose,” and “Freeway Of Love” have millions of views.

And her music video for “Rock-A-Lott” is interesting.
