This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
After the success of 123: Dogs in Hawaii, they are back to announce our exciting new book ABC: Dogs in Hawaii. This is not your ordinary alphabet book made just for kids. It’s a book for dog lovers of all ages that features twenty-six colorful photographs of dogs around Hawaii. After receiving such positive feedback from the counting book, I know I wanted to create a perfect companion book that made learning the alphabet fun for kids. Dogs add so much joy and love into life, I truly believe that applies the same in learning. ABC: Dogs in Hawaii takes kids through the ABCs with beautiful photos of different breeds of dogs teaching them simple words and associations.
Although much of the media consumed these days is digital, I still believe there is tremendous value in physical books for both kids and adults. The experience kids have of picking a book off a shelf, flipping through pages, and finishing it only to want to start over again is a timeless memory we all have. For adults, reading aloud not only helps teach the sounds and letters, but it also gives children an invaluable gift – your undivided attention. Being able to share these books and experiences with my nephews is why this project is so important to me.
As of August 16th, this project has raised $6,500 of their $7,500 goal. This project has 15 days left to raise $7,500 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $5, you will get stickers.
