This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
For a year I followed two packs of dogs; sheep dogs in the high mountains of Sardinia where sheep herding has existed for thousands of years, and the other through the streets of Bucharest with wild street dogs. This Kickstarter campaign is to raise the funds needed to finish the post production of the documentary including; color correcting, titles and graphics, sound design and mix, and the online of both an English and French version.
PLUS, the Kickstarter campaign is also to raise the money needed to edit an approximately 30 minute making of film with lots of great material not seen in the film, including filming of desert dogs in Tunisia and street dogs in Kashmir India who overtook the city of Srinagar during a police curfew. The making of will be offered at no extra charge with the feature documentary during distribution.
View five minutes of the film below!
As of August 2nd, this project has raised $17,400 of their $18,000 goal. This project has 5 days left to raise the $18,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $25, you will get a digital download of the film.
