This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Charlene is a San Diego based artist with a dream to publish her first children’s book “Howdy Joey!” Inspired by the loving nature and spirit of our family dog, as well as the American Southwest; she wanted to tell a story about hard-work, adventure and silly old western critters! With beautiful hand painted watercolor illustrations, this book tells the story of Joey, a young dog who dreams of becoming a law-man in his old west town.
With the guidance of his friend Sheriff Zoey, Joey learns how to be a leader, using his kind spirit and friendliness to make his town a wonderful place to be! I would love to continue the series by showing Joey’s journey through the west, visiting historical sites and national parks and exciting kids about the real places they can visit! “Howdy Joey!” Is my first children’s book, the story itself is complete and I am working on final illustrations.
As of July 17th, this project has raised $1,500 of their $4,000 goal. This project has 13 days left to raise the $4,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $1, you will get a downloadable coloring book. For a pledge of $25, you will get one signed book.
