This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Their family lost their four-legged best friend, Molly, last year and they found comfort in dreaming of what dog heaven is like. For many kids, losing a pet can be their first brush with loss and grief. They hope that this children’s book, Fairy Dog Heaven, can bring comfort and healing to other families who have also lost a dog. The story and the art for the book are already complete. They were fortunate enough to find the amazing children’s illustrator, Marcus Cutler, whose artwork brought the story to life. Now, they just need your help to fund our first print run.
They have their printer lined up ready to make a beautiful glossy 8.5″x11″ hardcover book which will last for countless reads. Fairy Dog Heaven was a way to honor the memory of their dog Molly, and bring comfort to their family. They hope it brings a little healing to yours as well.
As of July 13th, this project has raised $1,000 of their $3,500 goal. This project has 16 days left to raise the $3,500 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $18, you will get one hardcover book. For a pledge of $25, you will get one signed hardcover book.
