Roadscapes Wednesday: The New Highway To The Arctic Ocean

For the people who live way up in the Northwest Territories in Canada, the only ways in and out were by air, sea, or ice roads during the Winter.  But now, Canada has a road link to the Arctic Ocean.  The Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway opened, which meant that finally the country was connected “from sea to sea to sea”.  Watch below as Tom Scott explains the new road and the challenges of maintaining the road.
