From the early 1900s until today, the world of video technology has undergone some drastic changes. We’ve gone from huge communal screens for short viewings of colorless, soundless stop motion films to small screens in every household, to larger screens in every household, to pancake-flat screens on our walls and today, we even have handheld devices to take our television with us everywhere we go.
Despite humble beginnings with the most basic version of video technology, the television has become an integral part of our lives and it is here to stay. Technological developments force us to continually adapt to evolving forms of entertainment and the television as we know it is sure to change in the years to come.
