Good News Fridays: Toddler Leukemia Survivor Is Flower Girl At Bone Marrow Donor’s Alabama Wedding

I watched this story on ABC World News Tonight and it had to be shared!  A toddler from California was diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia right before her first birthday.  As you can imagine, this was devastating for the family.  Only a bone marrow transplant could help the little girl survive.  Of course the girl went on a national registry in hopes the family could find a match.  Luckily, a match came from an Auburn University student who volunteered to donate some of her blood marrow.  Soon, treatments began and despite the small odds, the little girl with leukemia pulled through.

A few years later, the blood marrow donor was about to get married, and she wanted the toddler to be her flower girl.  You can read this great story from Babble by clicking here.  And you can watch this story below!
