June 16 – Alabama Blueberry Festival – Brewton, AL
This festival has arts and crafts, a car show, live entertainment, blueberries, blueberry bushes, cookbooks and food. There is also a free children’s section. Home of the “original” blueberry ice cream (made especially for the festival).
June 16 – NASA In The Park – Big Spring Park – Huntsville, AL
The 5th Annual NASA in the Park event will be held on Saturday, June 16th, from 10 am – 3 pm at Big Spring Park East in Downtown Huntsville. This is a day where NASA and Marshal Space Flight Center come out and show the public what they have been working on as well as cool experiments! It is FREE to attend this awesome day full of fun and activities!

June 16 – Barbarian Challenge – Noccalula Falls Park – Gadsden, AL
That can do attitude? Bring it. You’ll need it on this course. This race is meant to test you – that’s a promise and a guarantee. Be prepared for a race beyond your wildest dreams. If it were easy, it wouldn’t be a Barbarian Challenge.

June 16 – Anniston Family Heritage Festival & Musical Concert – Zinn Park – Anniston, AL
Celebrate summer with live music, dancing, dining, food and craft vendors, and more! The Annual Music and Heritage Festival is a family-friendly outdoor event in historic, tree-lined Zinn Park, which includes a playground area, picnic pavilions, KidsZone and a splash pad. This year’s music headliner is the band “ZAPP”. Bring your lawn chairs and plan on staying all evening.
