Roadscapes Wednesday: US-Canada Border Splits This Road Down The Middle

Yep, this is interesting.  In a towns of Stanstead, Quebec and Derby Line, Vermont, comes a road where the border runs down the middle of the road.  One side of houses is in the USA, and one side of houses is in Canada.  The road named Canusa Street is maintained by Quebec (Quebec Route 247), so that means the people living on the USA side of the road enter Canada every time they leave their house.  And if a neighbor wants to cross the street, they have to go through customs.

The YouTuber Tom Scott went to this street to talk about all of this.  And yep, the mayor of Stanstead even had to tell the border control why Tom was even filming.  Security is as tighter as ever now, enjoy below!
