Convention Tuesdays: Magic City Con, NuCon, Southern-Fried Gaming Expo, Con Kasterborous 2018

Welcome to Convention Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I will feature and highlight conventions happening during the upcoming weekend in Alabama, or within short driving distances from Alabama.

June 8-10 — Magic City Con — Birmingham, Alabama

Magic City Con is a fan convention in Birmingham, Alabama taking place June 8 – 10, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel. We will have Special Guest Appearances, Panels, Gaming, Vendors, Authors, Artists, and a separate KidCon. We have several Tracks including Gaming, Cosplay, Fandoms, and Anime/Manga. June 8-10 — NuCon — Gadsden, Alabama

NuCon is a pop culture convention. There will be vendors, lecturers, panels, a costume contest and a plethora of other things to do. Vendors will include sci-fi, fantasy, cosplay, anime, steampunk and zombies (and so much more). Speakers and panels will cover costuming, film making, 3D computer art, leather work and zombie topics as well as many others.

June 8-10 — Southern-Fried Gaming Expo — Atlanta, Georgia

The Southern-Fried Gaming Expo (SFGE) is a 3-day fan convention focused exclusively on gaming. The expo is held June 8-10 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, GA, and boasts over 250 full-sized arcade games, pinball machines and console systems, along with tabletop gaming, vendors, special guest speakers, a film fest, wrestling, tournaments and more! SFGE is a family-friendly event that will be fun for all ages.

June 9-10 — Con Kasterborous — Huntsville, Alabama
