May 11-12 – Buck Creek Festival – Helena , AL

Free event – 2 days of Live music, over 100 arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, children’s activities and a rubber duck race on Saturday. Fund raiser for area non-profits.

May 11-12 – Prattville CityFest – Prattville, AL

Arts and Crafts festival with food, entertainment, and children’s activities. Friday: Free Concert, 7pm until 11pm Food vendors on site Saturday: 9am until 5pm, Arts & Crafts Vendors; Children’s activities including free inflatables, pony rides, petting zoo and more. Additional concert will be added on Saturday, check their website for more details.

May 12-13 – Foley Art in the Park – Foley, AL

An arts and crafts event in the park held Mother’s Day weekend and featuring more than 110 exhibitors displaying their original works. There will also be entertainment, children’s activity area and a variety of food featuring local chefs; perfect for enjoying the day out with Mom.

May 12 – Art in the Village – Crestline Village – Mountain Brook, AL

ART in the VILLAGE 38th Spring Art Festival, MOTHERS DAY SATURDAY May 12, 9 – 4 PM Voted Mountain Brook’s best event, this popular large art festival features members of Mountain Brook Art Association, all local artists from the metro area, many award-winning, regionally recognized. Local bands playing on field add to the festivities. Original paintings for sale in an outdoor setting in quaint Mountain Brook near Crestline Village. All sizes & price ranges. Jazz band. Crestline Village’s many restaurants and shops on the next street make for a pleasant outing. Grassy level field.

May 12-13 – Birmingham Rose Show – Birmingham Botanical Gardens – Birmingham, AL

The Birmingham Rose Society presents its annual Rose Show on Mother’s day weekend at the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The judging is Saturday morning, but the festivities are all weekend! There are all sorts of categories ranging from “novice” to “experienced exhibitor” and also “artistic arrangements” and, a photography division. We also host a number of educational seminars to help educate the public on the care of roses.

May 11-12 – Fire on the Mountain – Arab, AL

BBQ cook-off, live entertainment, car show, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities and more. The event is held annually on the first weekend of May.
