Crowdsourcing Mornings: Growing Greetings

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Share the fun of playing with nature with your family and friends and send them a Growing Greeting.  They designed greeting cards that grow “vegetable confetti”. Your loved ones will see microgreens grow in front of their eyes and in only a week they can use them in their cooking recipes.   At Clorofille they see plants as more than decorative, but essential to a happy and healthy life, and that’s why you can eat the microgreens right out of your card!  They teamed up with Tiny Gardens to bring you the perfect microgreens experience.  It takes only a week to have tasty microgreens, just watering each day.

Microgreens are a great way to spice up your dishes.  They might be micro but they are actually full of nutrients!  Researchers have discovered that microgreens like red cabbage contain up to 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than their mature counterparts.  The flavor of microgreens is also more intense, so a little bit of these card-grown greens can go a long way to enhance a meal for a loved one.  They have designed 4 different cards that can appeal to anyone, ranging from normal food-loving human beings to hipsters and even kids.  Back up their campaign to receive their cool cards!

As of April 30th, this project has raised $6,500 of their $8,137 goal.  This project has 3 days left to raise the $8,137 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $10, you will get one card.  For a pledge of $18, you will get two cards.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/707323227/growing-greetings-send-original-greeting-cards-tha
