Crowdsourcing Mornings: The Micro Wallet

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Micro Wallet is as small as a card when closed, yet fits up to 8 of them easily. A simple yet intuitive clam-style opening allows you to store and access your cards on-the-go with a flick of the wrist.  We know you carry around some bills as well, so we designed an all-new cash compartment. And yes, it fits all kinds of bills.  Micro wallet is made from one continuous piece of Tyvek® smart material with RFID seamlessly integrated into the fold which makes it virtually unrippable and highly resistant to wear & tear all while keeping your private electronic information safe from theft.

Apart from being super-durable, the Tyvek® we use for Micro-Wallet is also water-resistant, so rain or shine, you know you’re protected.  Don’t worry about loading up your Micro Wallet with cash, cards, receipts, notes, or whatever else you fancy. It’s paper thin, but still expands over time while remaining beautiful and never compromising durability.  When closed, Micro Wallet keeps your private data safe from electronic theft. The 360-degree RFID protection is built in so you won’t even notice it. Where did we fit it all in?  Well, that’s their secret.

As of April 13th, this project has raised $205,000 of their $15,000 goal. This project has 6 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $20, you will get one Micro Wallet.  For a pledge of $30, you will get two Micro Wallets.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
