Crowdsourcing Mornings: Anastasia The Live Action Short Film

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Anastasia is an animated film from 20th Century Fox that follows the hypothetical story on if Anastasia Romanov did survive the massacre of the Romanov family. She grows up in an orphanage plagued by amnesia and finds herself in the middle of a con to masquerade as the lost grand duchess. Alongside con men Vlad and Dimitri she finds her way to Paris to find a key to her past and help the men get the reward money posted by her grandmother of finding the lost duchess. As the story unfolds Anastasia not only discovers her past but that she truly is the missing duchess.

This story has won the hearts of viewers everywhere, and they wish to bring this magic to life by a short film showcasing the most pivotal moments of the film. To re-tell Anastasia’s story they would be incorporating the iconic soundtrack (they are working on the copyright side of using the original soundtrack, but should that falter they will be working with musicians to create their own covers) and using stunning locations, wardrobe and high quality equipment to bring this story to life.

As of March 7th, this project has raised $2,800 of their $3,000 goal. This project has 27 days left to raise the $3,000 or it will not be funded! For a pledge of $1, you will get behind the scenes access.  For a pledge of $25, you will get a digital copy of the project.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
