For people living along the western shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York, every Winter they get a bunch of snow. The lake effect snow is something these people are used too. But, when you get over 50 inches of snow in a few days, it’s even too much for these folks. The YouTube channel StormChasingVideo recorded what lake effect snow bands look like at night, which looks like a white wall.
You also see people struggling to drive, and clearing the massive amounts of snow as well. I love snow, but over 50 inches is just too much.
